The Butterfly Metamorphosis Project
The Butterfly Classic / Metamorphosis project is a collaboration between Educators, and Entertainment Industry professionals for mentoring, and tutoring our underachieving grade school students.
From The Best of Both Worlds, we can mentor and tutor students to get them from underachieving, subpar grade levels and into our program to maximize their potential grade levels. We help find careers in industry that are each student's passion and help them sustain their life.
With over 30 years in the entertainment industry, we are able to use sports and entertainment as a fundraising arm to help pay the educators and the mentor's salary.
By resurrecting and revamping the Derby Basketball Game that is now known as the Butterfly Derby Basketball Classic, and surrounding it with various concerts, we have been placed in an incredible position to be impactful and spark change for Generations.
With COVID-19 affecting learning, and students not being able to evolve in their grade level with constant and thorough instruction in person, many kids fell behind with non-traditional learning. In Jefferson County Kentucky there were well over 11,000 students absent from non-traditional learning. Missing almost two-plus years of personal instruction is the reason why the Butterfly Classic and Metamorphosis projects are in such demand and are so needed.

Objectives

- To help former athletes return to college that did not complete their degree and help them complete their degree by underwriting the tuition and needed resources to graduate.
- To assist school-age kids 8th grade through 12th grade attain Higher Learning via Vocational School college or by sending them to the armed services.
- To help kids achieve their Highest Potential in education.
- To help High School men and women basketball players get a college scholarship via NAIA, division 2, Division 3, Juco, or HBCU.
- To put on a world-class event with the butterfly classic and have representation from top-rated student athletes.
- To produce world-class events and A-list concerts that will be the economic engine of the butterfly classic.
- To develop an educational system of mentoring and tutoring that assists thousands of kids every year upgrading their reading and math levels. Upgrading their chances at a better college education which will enhance their chances at a better job that will sustain their life.
